Standing before animal skins in a cultivated field, the Emperor emanates the powers of focus, discernment, and the rule of law. He wields the powers of structure and stability, as evidenced by the earthen bricks that comprise his world. His solar halo denotes his mental expansiveness and sense of self, while the eagle depicts clear sight, along with the ability to rise above the details of a given situation to grant an understanding of 'the big picture'. The sky is filled with an ancient map of the Roman Empire, a reminder that his is rule of law, and of unification. The Taurean bull draws our attention to those earthy astrological qualities, such as steadfastness, and stability, and marks his time of the year as being that of late Spring. At his foot rests a black cube that glows green with the elemental powers of Earth. Upon his chest he is marked with a tree, indicating that his is also the nature of growth and nurturing.
