The Blue God is a major figure in the F(a)eri(e) tradition of Witchcraft, and represents our own divine natures. Being at once both spiritual and sexual, He is a reminder that our own desires and drives are inherently Divine in origin.

This image is based on some trance experiences that I have had with the BlueGod, in which he donned fairy-like butterfly wings in order to remove me from the terrestrial sphere and bring me into the outer cosmos. In this aspect He is the revealer of knowledge,as well as a protector. Like the moth that flies towards the light of the full moon, the BlueGod leads us towards the light of our own inner knowledge, the lunar sphere of unconscious knowing.
