To me, Baphomet has always represented the union of all opposites... male/female, dark/light, etc. But it goes a step further, combining animal /human/ vegetable / mineral... terrestrial / celestial... sacred / profane... sexual / spiritual. When I see this image I am reminded of the sacred primal nature that is our divine birthright. |
