It’s official! I’m pleased to be able to share with you all the beginnings of the manifestations of one of my long-term goals. I have wanted to publish a book about my take on Faery tradition for many years and that is finally about to happen. I am happy to announce that I have signed with Llewellyn and my book, tentatively titled “Betwixt and Between: Exploring the Faery Tradition of Witchcraft”, is almost complete! I’m at roughy 75,000 words so far and just nearing the finish line. It is a sort of “Textbook for BlueRose”, my lineage of the tradition, and will provide the reader a guided method to adopt a meaningful BlueRose Faery-style witchcraft practice. It also explores some of the history of our larger tradition, dispelling some of the myths while preserving some of our lore. It has history, philosophy, practical work, trance journeys, spells, spirits, sigils, rituals, and more. I am able to offer new liturgy, rituals, and lore that is an effective container for the artistic, magical, and spiritual current that is carried by the various permutations of Faery that have come before me. It is my hope that it will assist even seasoned practitioners and initiates in deepening their work while providing the earnest newcomer a way to use these powerful tools to better their lives and their magic. IO Evohe! Blessed be!
I will certainly let you all know when I know more along the way. In the meantime, I am celebrating. (And by celebrating I mean getting off social media and getting back to actually writing… my deadline LOOMS!)
UPDATE: The book releases January 8, 2017. Pre-orders are available from Llewellyn here.
